The South Korean electrical equipment maker will participate in the exhibition at Messe München from June 2325 under the theme "Comprehensive Solution Provider for an Enhanced Power System. Featured products include ultra-high-voltage transformers and DC distribution solutions. A 132kV, 90MVA transformer will be the centerpiece, alongside a 1,500kVA cast-resin transformer and a 35kV medium-voltage switchgear unit. LS Electric is expanding in Europe's high-voltage market following a major German contract and plans to transition all insulation materials in its power equipment portfolio to halogen-free alternatives by year-end. Shanghai-based Iluvatar CoreX is in talks with ByteDance to supply AI chips for inference workloads and is exploring a similar agreement with Baidu. If finalized, Iluvatar CoreX would become ByteDance's third major domestic GPU supplier after Huawei and Cambricon. ByteDance is also evaluating Baidu's Kunlunxin chips, while Tencent already uses them. The discussions highlight growing momentum for Chinese chipmakers as Beijing promotes domestic alternatives to foreign AI hardware amid U.S. export restrictions. Chinese GPU and AI chip vendors captured nearly 41 percent of China's AI accelerator server market last year, reducing Nvidia's influence in the country.Iluvatar CoreX is expected to deliver at least 50,000 chips to ByteDance this year, primarily supporting inference tasks for its Doubao AI chatbot platform.
