| | AUGUST 20238IN FOCUSAmulti-cloud operations management business named Bespin Global announced the appointment of Sunny Kim, CEO of Bespin Global U.S., as its new CEO. Kim's new position will require him to manage cloud MSP companies in Korea, the US, China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia as well as position Bespin worldwide as a worldwide cloud MSP. Sunny Kim will receive direct reports from each region.Sunny Kim has overseen the software business unit and aided in the expansion and innovation of the company since arriving in 2018. He has been in charge of Bespin Global's U.S. unit since 2021, where he has overseen the division of the company that has had the highest growth and made a substantial contribution to its global growth. He spent 12 years working for Samsung Electronics before joining Bespin Global. In his most recent position, he oversaw investments in tech startups while serving as Vice President of Samsung Next. He worked for Accenture and Siebel Systems (Oracle) before joining Samsung. He received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a degree from Georgia Tech."My goal and mission as the new global head of Bespin Global is for the Korean-born cloud company to grow in the largest markets such as North America and Europe, and eventually become a top player in the global cloud market," said Sunny Kim. "I will explore and pursue various ways, including M&A, to accelerate global growth and secure leadership in the market. I will also strengthen connections and exchanges among Bespin Global's overseas bases, currently located in 14 cities in 9 countries, to create greater synergies and contribute to our transformation into a truly global company". Exelon revealed that Anna Richo has been chosen as a director by the board. She has a wealth of expertise in corporate litigation, intellectual property, and compliance and business ethics.Richo spent several years living in Belgium and served as executive vice president and general counsel at UCB, a biopharmaceutical company, before joining Cargill. She also held positions as chief litigation counsel, associate general counsel, and vice president of law at Baxter Healthcare, as well as senior vice president and chief compliance officer at global biotechnology company Amgen. Her extensive international experience, which spans Europe, Latin America, and Asia, has strengthened her commitment to promoting workplace diversity and inclusion concerns.Richo has a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
