| | JUNE 20239IN FOCUSNETAPP NAMES ANDREW SOTIROPOULOS AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER FOR APACAndrew Sotiropoulos, a senior business executive and veteran of the IT sector, has been named by NetApp, a multinational, cloud-driven, data-centric software firm, as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia Pacific (APAC).Andrew will oversee NetApp's operations and lead the company's regional expansion strategies from his base in Singapore. His top priorities, which he reports to NetApp President Cesar Cernuda on, are expanding NetApp's enterprise storage and cloud business, bolstering its partner ecosystem, and maintaining its dominance in local markets.With more than three decades of expertise in the technology sector, Andrew has led pan-regional teams to spur company expansion and seize new possibilities. At Pure Storage, he most recently held the position of VP of Asia Pacific and Japan. Andrew has also managed teams for Lenovo and IBM. He oversaw the Asia Pacific region of IBM's Global Technology Services division.
