| |JULY 20269Indonesia and Belarus signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cultural cooperation to strengthen bilateral ties through joint initiatives involving artists, museums, academics, and creative industries, Culture Minister Fadli Zon announced. He said the partnership aims to bring together artists, cultural professionals, museums, art institutions, scholars, and creative communities from both countries to encourage learning, innovation, and collaboration.The agreement establishes a framework for structured, sustainable, and mutually beneficial cultural cooperation while promoting stronger people-to-people connections. Areas of collaboration include partnerships between theater and film organizations, museums, artist collectives, museum exhibition exchanges, and participation in international film festivals. The MoU also supports capacity building, heritage preservation, cultural documentation, restoration efforts, knowledge sharing, through regular exchanges and collaborative educational programs nationwide. Samsung Group plans to invest 140 trillion won ($90 billion) in South Korea's Chungcheong province to strengthen manufacturing across display panels, semiconductors, batteries, and chip materials. The investment supports the conglomerate's strategy to reinforce its leadership in advanced technologies and expand the country's semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.Samsung Display will contribute 67 trillion won to expand production capacity and develop next-generation display technologies in Asan and Cheonan. Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will invest 56 trillion won to establish and expand advanced packaging facilities for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) chips in Onyang and Cheonan. The facilities will support growing demand for AI semiconductors, enhance high-speed data processing capabilities, improve competitiveness in the global AI market, create high-value manufacturing opportunities, and attract future investments..
