| |JULY 20269Singapore's High Commission in India has expressed support for Skyroot Aerospace's Vikram-1 mission, describing it as a milestone in the growing space collaboration between Singapore and India. Backed by Singapore's sovereign wealth funds GIC and Temasek, the mission marks India's first privately developed orbital launch.Developed by Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace, the 24-metre Vikram-1 rocket is capable of placing payloads of up to 350 kg into a 450-km Low Earth Orbit. The launch vehicle features a lightweight carbon-composite structure, three solid-fuel stages, and a liquid orbital correction module. Among its payloads is Bengaluru-based Cosmos Diamonds' "Diamond Lotus."According to IN-SPACe, the mission highlights the rapid growth of India's private space industry following the landmark space sector reforms introduced in 2020. Vietnam's E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, partnered with the Vietnam Trade Office in Cambodia and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to host a seminar in Phnom Penh promoting cross-border e-commerce and expanding export opportunities. Officials said stronger digital trade could help increase bilateral trade from $11.3 billion in 2025 to $20 billion in the coming years. Vietnam's e-commerce market reached $31 billion in 2025, growing more than 25 percent year on year, with around 60percent of the population shopping online. Cambodia's digital economy is also expanding rapidly, supported by rising internet access, digital payments, a young population, and improved logistics, creating greater opportunities for businesses to reach consumers through online platforms and boost exports.
