Could you share a bit about your professional background and experiences, as well as what inspired you to establish K&K Pipe?

Despite having to work while still studying in high school due to my family's living conditions, I persevered and tried my hand at various businesses, including selling cookies and clothes. Eventually, I saw an opportunity in importing women's clothing from Thailand and China and decided to establish my own garment factory in Cambodia. Over the years, my factory has become well-known for producing high-quality clothing for various brands.

As a Cambodian, I am passionate about building quality brands in my country. That's why I decided to establish K&K Pipe Cambodia, a manufacturer of HDPE pipes that focuses on the highest quality standards. I believe that this business will contribute to improving the lives of Cambodians by providing access to clean water, especially since there are over 10 million people in Cambodia who still lack access to clean water. My inspiration for this business came from my experience working in the HDPE pipe manufacturing industry overseas. I saw that while the international standard for quality was high, the prices were often too steep for many customers. As a result, many people ended up using low-quality products. I am confident that I can create a high-quality product that is compliant with international standards while also being affordable for Cambodians.

What motivates you on a daily basis as a new-age leader? What drives your passion?

My journey and experience have taught me that the key to success is to not only meet but exceed my customers' expectations. I am motivated by my staff and their unwavering commitment to delivering the best quality products and services. As a leader, I strive to grow our business with fairness and honesty. Although the path to success can be challenging, I am confident that by maintaining these principles, I can achieve my goals. Ultimately, I believe that success is a culmination of hard work and dedication, and I am committed to continuing to push myself and my team to reach new heights.

How do you define K&K Pipe's position in the market? What sets your organization apart from others in the industry?

With over 20 years of experience in the field, we have gained an excellent understanding of the challenges that the water industry faces. Our team of experienced professionals works closely with customers and the industry to provide clean, safe, secure, and innovative water solutions that meet the demands of today and the future.

What sets us apart from our competitors is our commitment to providing responsive, customer-focused service. We have a vast range of stock on hand in our warehouses, including unusual sizes and configurations in PE and non-PE specified materials, ready for immediate delivery.

As a leading HDPE pipe manufacturer in Cambodia, we hold certifications such as ISO 9001 and ISO 4427. We place a strong emphasis on the detection, evaluation, and auditing of our entire supply chain to ensure that our products meet international standards.

Overall, we believe that our extensive experience customer-focused approach, and commitment to quality set us apart from other players in the industry. Our goal is to continue growing our business while providing innovative and sustainable water solutions for our customers.

What are the guidelines or methodologies you follow to lead your team? What's the future destination you're heading towards for the next five years?

As a leader, my approach is to empower my team and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to succeed. I believe in leading by example and setting clear guidelines and expectations. I prioritize open communication, collaboration, and a positive work environment where everyone's ideas and contributions are valued. Continuous improvement and learning are important to me, and I encourage my team to take risks, be creative, and innovate.

My vision is to bring affordable and high-quality products to my own country, we wanted to become a leading Cambodian-owned pipe manufacturing with diverse expertise of technical team and international standards.

Looking to the future, our goal is to continue to expand our market share and product offerings, while maintaining our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In the next five years, we aim to become a leading manufacturer not only in Cambodia but also in the region, by continuously investing in research and development, improving our manufacturing processes, and expanding our customer base. We also plan to explore new market segments and opportunities, while staying true to our values and principles.
