How has your professional journey been so far? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?

With over two decades of real estate expertise spanning Asia Pacific, my multifaceted experience in development, from land acquisition to corporate management, has fortified my proficiency. I've  cultivated exceptional business acumen and interpersonal finesse, engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Negotiating with high-level corporate executives, NGOs, and government agencies across Asia, including Indonesia, China, Singapore, Philippines, and Thailand, has further augmented my skills. Furthermore, my strong motivation derives from my commitment to family and colleagues. As a decision-maker reporting to the owner or chairman, I recognize the profound impact each choice holds. Also, every day, I strive to approach the office with renewed focus, aware that my actions directly affect my employees' livelihoods.

You possess about twenty years of experience. How has been your path to success and what is your success mantra?

The path to triumph is no cakewalk. I've encountered countless hurdles along my professional journey. However, with each setback, I've emerged resolute, harnessing the lessons learned to bounce back even stronger. The process of growth and the wisdom gained from failed attempts hold paramount  significance for me. Every milestone, and every achievement, is a testament to the collective effort of my team and the support of my family. I relish every moment of my daily pursuits, recognizing that outcomes may not always reflect the effort invested. As countless individuals have attested, success is a voyage, not a destination. My mantra echoes this sentiment: your attitude determines your altitude. Embrace perseverance, for giving up now would conceal the proximity of triumph.

Could you tell us about the unique experiences the National University of Singapore offers and what did you learn from the campus beyond academics?

In my perspective, the university's multicultural milieu offers a platform for meaningful interaction, learning, and mutual respect, given the diverse student body hailing from across the globe. Additionally, residing in the hostel throughout my university years, I recognized the need to excel academically and engage in extracurricular endeavors. This necessitated honing my leadership skills through spearheading non-academic organizations, including diverse sports teams, an experience that proved instrumental in my personal growth.
