NHN Cloud, a division of the South Korean technology and gaming behemoth NHN Group, and Gcore, a provider of high-performance, low-latency, international cloud and edge solutions, jointly announce a strategic alliance. NHN Cloud is a leading supplier of public and private cloud services in South Korea and throughout Asia Pacific.
As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Gcore will gain access to the Asia Pacific market through the NHN Cloud by making its cutting-edge cloud services, such as CDN (Content Delivery Network), 5G eSIM, and accelerated AI processing, available to businesses there. In exchange, Gcore will serve as NHN Cloud's strategic partner in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and act as a gateway for customers in the Asia Pacific area.
The MOU also establishes a framework for the two businesses' cooperative development of innovative solutions and cooperation on business projects.
Hangame, a South Korean online gaming portal with over 37 million players, NHN Payco, a payment gateway and digital wallet service, and FashionGo, an online marketplace, are just a few of the internet businesses that NHN Cloud manages.
The most potent and comprehensive edge and cloud services in Europe are being developed by Gcore for almost ten years. More than 11,000 peering partners and 140 points of presence across the globe make up Gcore's infrastructure at this time.
