Menzies Aviation, a prominent service partner for airports and airlines globally, has unveiled a new joint venture (JV) with Sociedade Gestora de Aeroportos (SGA-SA) to provide cargo and lounge services at Luanda International Airport (LAD).
As part of this new collaboration, Menzies Angola is set to manage an annual cargo volume exceeding 30,000 tonnes, catering to a diverse clientele that includes Taag-Angola Airlines, Air France, TAP Air Portugal, and Ethiopian Airlines. Additionally, the company will oversee operations at the VIP lounge in LAD, accommodating over 45,000 passengers annually.
SGA Angola, accountable to the Angolan Ministry of Transport, oversees 18 airports, including the prominent Luanda International Airport (LAD). The organization is dedicated to delivering high-quality and secure services, prioritizing operational efficiency and sustainability.
