As part of its expansion plans, SCG International is set to establish its inaugural office in Riyadh, aiming to capitalize on the extensive business prospects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), which has been experiencing significant economic growth. This expansion highlights the company's global stature as a provider of supply chain solutions, positioning itself as a pivotal 'global connector' among its international partners. Additionally, SCG International is enhancing its brand visibility by showcasing its range of supply chain solutions, construction expertise, and innovative offerings at the Thailand Mega Fair 2023 held in Riyadh.

During the event, SCG International organized a panel discussion titled "Unleashing KSA’s Growth Potential Demonstrating Resilient Supply Chains in Action", featuring distinguished participants including Mr. Fahad Alhashem, Managing Director of Real Estate and Construction at the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA). The panel, inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Darm Boontham, Thailand's ambassador to KSA, emphasized the pivotal role of resilient supply chains in fortifying global connectivity, crucial for ensuring sustainable business expansion.

Mr. Abhijit Datta, Head of International Business and Managing Director at SCG International, highlighted Saudi Arabia's regional prominence as the largest economy in the Middle East. He noted that the 'Saudi Vision 2030' advocates for economic transformation by diminishing dependence on oil exports and amplifying investments in manufacturing and significant construction projects. Presently, Saudi Arabia boasts a $118 billion economy, ranking 17th globally.
