Isuzu Motors India Appoints Takeshi Hirano as Deputy Managing Director

Isuzu Motors India has revealed a significant alteration in its upper management by naming Takeshi Hirano as Deputy Managing Director. Hirano takes over from Toru Kishimoto, who will assume a different role at the parent company in Japan.

Isuzu Motors India operates as a branch of Isuzu Motors Limited. Before this appointment, Hirano was linked with the Isuzu Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan.

Hirano has more than 20 years of experience in distribution and marketing in international markets for Isuzu. Throughout the years, he has taken on various positions managing operations across different areas for both Isuzu Motors and Mitsubishi Corporation.

He is also familiar with the Indian automotive market, having previously worked at Isuzu Motors India as Vice President – Sales and Marketing. In his prior position, he was instrumental in building the sales and marketing framework of the company within the nation.

In the meantime, Kishimoto will move to a different position at the parent company in Japan. The shift in leadership aligns with the company's larger business objectives and strategic goals.

The appointment is anticipated to enhance Isuzu Motors India’s leadership group as the firm persists in growing its footprint in the Indian market.

Isuzu Motors India (IMI), a division of Japan's Isuzu Motors Limited founded in 2012, focuses on producing and selling durable pickup trucks and SUVs. Situated in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, its 107-acre site emphasizes a "Make in India" dedication, prioritizing durability and dependability.

At present, the factory produces the latest lineup of Isuzu D-MAX pick-ups and Isuzu mu-X SUVs. This facility also introduces Isuzu’s international manufacturing standards to India, guaranteeing that the vehicles produced here match the quality and dependability found worldwide.
