Dubai Ruler Hosts Iftar for UAE President, Talk Security Issues

President Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, have assured that the UAE possesses the resolute determination and strength necessary to confront and prevail over any obstacles presented by persistent Iranian aggressions.

During their high-level discussions, the two leaders expressed that the Emirates continued to be a sanctuary of security and steadiness.

They commended the UAE Armed Forces, military establishments, and security services for their efforts in safeguarding the nation.

During a gathering at Al Marmoom in Dubai, individuals petitioned for the safeguarding of the United Arab Emirates and its citizens, with a specific emphasis on addressing the UAE's characterization of the perceived Iranian aggression as blatant.

The President and the Ruler of Dubai highlighted the importance of societal cohesion and institutional efficiency during challenging times for the UAE. Sheikh Mohamed was in attendance at a special iftar gathering held in his honor by Sheikh Mohammed.

The gathering and evening meal during Ramadan were graced by the presence of prominent figures including Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, the Crown Prince of Dubai, who also holds the title of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.

Additionally, in attendance were Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, serving as the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai while also holding positions as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes' Affairs. Also present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed, the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed, serving as the President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and holding the positions of Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group; as well as Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad, who is an Advisor to the UAE President.

The gathering was further graced by a number of other sheikhs, ministers, and high-ranking officials.

 

The UAE proclaimed that it had successfully intercepted an additional 12 ballistic missiles and 17 drones that were launched from Iran.

Two individuals sustained injuries following the falling of debris in two separate locations within Abu Dhabi. A Jordanian citizen sustained a minor injury in the initial incident, while an Egyptian citizen suffered moderate injuries in the subsequent occurrence, as reported by the Abu Dhabi Media Office.

The locations were not revealed by authorities. Two safety alerts were issued to residents of Abu Dhabi at approximately 7:15 am and 9:55 am. Since the commencement of the conflict last Saturday, the Emirates has faced approximately 1,500 missile and drone attacks from Iran, impacting multiple Gulf nations.
