Daisy Huang Promoted to Head of Strategy at OMG Singapore

Omnicom Media Group Singapore has elevated Daisy Huang to the position of Head of Strategy, bringing together the strategic capabilities of its various agencies under her direction.

Operating from Singapore, which serves as OMG's Asia Pacific headquarters, Huang will be responsible for spearheading innovation, overseeing product development and enhancements, and leading educational programs and internal projects to strengthen strategic competencies, according to the agency.

Her role will encompass providing strategic guidance for global, regional, and local operations while collaborating with Omnicom Group agencies to facilitate cross-functional integration and expansion.

The company states that this appointment supports two key objectives for OMG Singapore: combining data, technology, and media to enhance decision-making processes and results, and positioning strategy as the core of its business operations.

Before being promoted to her group-level position, Huang worked at OMD for over ten years across Singapore and Australia, taking on various roles in strategic planning and client management. 

In her most recent capacity as Head of Strategy at OMD Singapore, she spearheaded successful pitches for clients including Singtel, GXS, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and Clarins.

“I hope to bring a clear strategic direction to the business, and aim to elevate the thinking and the work at scale”, Huang adds .

 

Huang also played a key role in developing OMD Singapore's three-year strategic vision called "Be Fearless Together," which helped the agency secure three consecutive Agency of the Year honors. 

She was instrumental in building the agency's strategic planning, creative media, and award submission expertise, overseeing strategic and creative initiatives that earned recognition at prestigious industry events such as the Festival of Media Global, Festival of Media Asia Awards, MARKies, Marketing Excellence Awards, and the Singapore Media Marketing Awards.
