To meet the increasing demand for travel and maintain efficient transport operations, the Prime Minister directed relevant organizations to increase transport capacity, especially in public passenger services, to guarantee smooth connections at railway stations, airports, bus terminals, and ferry ports.
It was emphasized that no travelers should be stranded or delayed when returning home for Tet because of a lack of transportation, and measures should be taken to prevent unfair pricing practices.
Additionally, steps to prevent traffic accidents and congestion during the busiest holiday period were also stressed. The Ministry of Public Security was tasked with increasing patrols, inspections, and enforcement actions, with a focus on strict enforcement of traffic violations that are major causes of accidents. Police were instructed to quickly identify and stop illegal street racing and actions that disturb public order.

Simultaneously, officials were instructed to increase examinations and impose strict penalties for violations in transportation operations, along with collaborating with other agencies to avoid the unlawful transportation of dangerous goods, as well as goods, animals, and poultry with uncertain origins or lacking veterinary certification.
Additionally, close cooperation with health authorities was necessary to enforce border health quarantine measures as per guidelines. Other pertinent organizations were also directed to create strategies for managing traffic, implementing regulations, and diverting vehicles as needed.

The Prime Minister also urged for improved public information and communication strategies, such as the release of contact numbers for reporting traffic safety issues to efficiently handle public input during the holiday season.
