SCCI Signs MoU with Brazilian Chamber To Bolster Business Relations

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of So Paulo, a step toward boosting business Relations, developing mutual employment possibilities, and driving investment options available to both parties. The project also aims to strengthen collaboration between the corporate community in the UAE and Brazil.

The MoU was virtually signed by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI, and Roberto Mateus Ordine, President of São Paulo Chamber of Commerce. Other notable attendees included Abdulaziz Mohammed Shattaf, Assistant Director-General of the Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber, and Jamal Saeed Buzangal, Director of the Media Department at the Chamber, along with several officials from both delegations, as per wam

The Memorandum of Understanding includes different areas of engagement, such as exchanging trade delegations and conversations about exports and the economy. It also helps to facilitate visits and the establishment of a commercial network. The agreement also calls for the exchange of commercial data, information, and statistics, as well as the launch of cooperative research projects and participation in events, exhibits, and trade shows on both sides. Furthermore, it encourages members to share technical expertise, experiences, and training opportunities.

The MoU, according to Al Owais, would greatly boost collaboration between the two chambers and benefit private sector firms and owners of innovative projects, assuring reciprocal advantages in trade and economic cooperation.

He emphasized the long-standing and positive character of UAE-Brazil bilateral ties, which are seeing an increase in the amount of economic collaboration.
