My professional journey traces back to early exposure to entrepreneurship within my family, igniting a lifelong passion for innovation. At Orang Tua Group, I spearheaded transformative projects, driving substantial savings through streamlined processes. Transitioning to Cargill, I embraced technological advancements, garnering global recognition for operational excellence. British American Tobacco further honed my leadership, driving exponential growth. Yet, I realized leadership extends beyond operations, prompting a shift towards sustainability at Gojek.

Furthermore, at Haldin, I tackle Indonesia's agricultural challenges head-on, championing holistic solutions to foster harmony between humanity and the environment. My solid commitment to catalyzing positive change drives me forward, propelling me to seek innovative strategies and collaborative partnerships that transcend organizational boundaries, creating a lasting impact on society and the planet.

My leadership philosophy embodies a fusion of servant leadership and the Firefly approach, where understanding the core heartbeat of operations is paramount. With two decades of business acumen, I prioritize making sustainable value creation the cornerstone of every endeavour. Intellectual curiosity fuels our journey, ensuring a deep understanding of our domain. Placing people at the forefront is non-negotiable, as their well-being is integral to organizational success. Implementing a five level leadership framework enables us to navigate complexities with precision and empathy. By adhering to these principles, we not only drive impactful change but also cultivate a culture of collaboration and growth, propelling us toward shared aspirations.

Could you reflect on some of the toughest challenges you have encountered in your journey so far? How did you overcome them and what did you learn from them?

In my journey, one of the toughest challenges I've encountered revolves around navigating the vast landscape of information available through the Internet of Things. Selecting the right sources amidst the overflow of data is paramount, especially when forecasting trends. Without discerning sources, confusion reigns. Additionally, joining organizations such as Haldin has broadened my perspective. Overcoming these challenges has taught me the importance of meticulous research and strategic networking in making informed decisions amidst dynamic market conditions.

How do you keep yourself up-to-date with ongoing industry trends to steer your organization towards the future?

Staying in tune with industry trends is crucial for guiding our organization into the future. Apart from engaging with farmers and NGOs, I make it a habit to read a book regularly, even if it's a quick read, to broaden my knowledge base. I also attend social gatherings with fellow industry professionals and take online courses from reputable universities. With the abundance of information available online, it's essential to sift through it carefully and identify reliable sources. Developing a curious mindset and honing the ability to spot trends amidst the noise helps me stay informed and make informed decisions for our organization's growth.

What is the future destination you are heading towards?

My envisioned future destination involves becoming a catalyst for transformation, intricately weaving together a multifaceted value chain that spans from upstream processes to customer connections. With Haldin, I see boundless potential awaiting realization. As part of the leadership team, my mission is clear: to navigate our organization toward sustained growth and impact.
