This inspired him to set a long-term goal of establishing his own company in Singapore, a vision that he successfully realized after seven years of meticulous planning and hard work. Today, Speed Cargo Logistics, under his leadership has grown to become one of the leading NVOCC operators in Singapore. With a fleet of its own, the company excels in providing top-notch services in regions such as Singapore, India, the Middle East, the Far East, and Africa. How have you been leading Speed Cargo Logistics in a strategic direction & maintaining its position in the market so far?

At Speed Cargo Logistics, we have focused on strategic specialization rather than offering a broad range of services. Many midsize companies believe that diversifying their offerings leads to profitability, but this often causes them to lose focus on their core strengths. We have built our reputation by clearly defining our identity and concentrating on meeting our customers' specific needs, particularly in handling oversized cargo. This approach has enabled us to become a leader in this niche market. While establishing a strong reputation takes time and dedication, we view it as a valuable investment that ensures long-term success and market leadership.

What are the latest market trends you have helped the company adopt, under your leadership?

We have strategically concentrated on project cargo, specifically oversized (OOG) shipments that cannot be loaded into standard containers. This focus has enabled us to become one of the leading global companies in handling OOG shipments. By specializing in this area, we have differentiated ourselves in the market and built a strong reputation for efficiently managing these complex logistics challenges. This approach has allowed us to meet the unique demands of our clients and position Speed Cargo Logistics as a top player in this specialized sector.

How do you guide your team to continually uphold the company’s reputation for transparency of transactions & promptness of service?

I guide my team by emphasizing the importance of being available around the clock, even though our official working hours are 8 hours a day. We are dedicated to being accessible 24/7 to meet our customers' needs, which strengthens our commitment to transparency and prompt service. This approach ensures that we maintain a high level of responsibility and consistently exceed customer expectations. By fostering a culture of reliability and responsiveness, we uphold the company’s reputation for excellent service and transparent transactions.

What is your anticipation for the upcoming technological developments & opportunities in the market, going forward?

We recognize the importance of embracing emerging technologies. We are eager to adopt innovations that enhance our customers' experience by providing them with seamless access to real-time updates on their cargo status. This will not only improve efficiency but also deliver a more transparent and hassle-free service. Moreover, we plan to leverage technology to expand our global connectivity, fostering stronger relationships and reinforcing our presence in the industry. By staying at the forefront of technological advancements, we aim to continuously improve our service offerings and position ourselves as leaders in the logistics sector.

What is the next chapter you look forward to embarking on your professional journey, going forward?

The next chapter of our professional journey involves expanding our presence in India and the Middle East over the next two years. We plan to launch a mobile app that will offer our customers convenient access to pricing, booking, and tracking services, powered by the latest technology. Additionally, we are setting up an IT support infrastructure in India, featuring advanced software systems, which will also create valuable job opportunities in the region. This expansion will allow us to better serve our customers while contributing to local economic growth.
