Amicorp Fund Services Asia (Amicorp) has appointed Eric Chow and Joost Lobler as sales directors to enhance and expand the company's operations throughout the APAC region. Chow previously served as the head of business development for Greater China at Ogier and held roles including director of alternative investments at KPMG and regional head of client management at State Street's Alternative Investment Services
Lobler moved to the organization from Waystone Governance, where he served as the Managing Director responsible for business development. Before this role, he held the position of Head of Sales overseeing securities services in the Greater China region at Standard Chartered. Previously, Lobler occupied various high-ranking roles within prominent financial institutions in the Netherlands, the UK, and the Caribbean
Kin Lai, CEO of Amicorp Fund Services (UK), expressed enthusiasm about the addition of Lobler and Chow to their expanding Hong Kong team. Lai highlighted Joost's extensive experience spanning several decades in fund administration, securities services, governance, and compliance, enhancing the support provided to clients regionally and globally. Lai also emphasized Eric's considerable expertise and contribution to bolstering their sales efforts across APAC. He noted that Eric's connections with prominent Asia Fund managers, particularly those based in Hong Kong, including Chinese managers, would aid in expanding their client base not only in this pivotal market but also internationally.
