Apple has introduced much awaited changes to the iPad line with M4 iPad Pro, according to reports, believed to hold more exciting news for Apple fans to be hyped about for the upcoming tablet.

Reports claim that Apple is apparently setting the selfie camera on the iPad Pro on a transformational year this time. The tech giants based in Cupertino might be introducing the second portrait lens to the brand-new iPad pro in addition to the already available landscape lens.

Some users were not too pleased by the decision of the tech giant to move the selfie camera at the side of the iPad rather than the top as it meant customers who have been using the device to make video calls or use face time in portrait mode felt awkward due to the new position of the selfie camera.

Apple has only updated the orientation last year and so the company is said to not go in reverse gear in the same year. Additionally, the introduction of both portrait and landscape lens may ideally allow Apple to satisfy both the camps of the selfie camera war.

It has been revealed that the M5 ipad pro except that it is expected to be based on the latest chipset used by Apple. Indeed, this may be the debut of the M5 chipset on an Apple product since the M5-based MacBooks are likely to come out within the first half of 2026.

Last year, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that iPad Pro with the M5 chip may go into mass production in the first half of 2025. The iPad Pro was released in May 2024 and considering that Apple has released updates to its iPad Pro models within 18 months to a year before, then chances are that the new models will be released around September or October this year.
