Asia's Premier Produce Trade Show Expands to Hong Kong

AsiaAsia Fruit Logistica plans to extend its reach across Asia by organizing content-driven regional networking events. These events aim to establish connections with key players and generate increased enthusiasm for the show's comeback in Hong Kong on September 4-6, 2024. The Business Meet-Up series will specifically target Indonesia, India, Thailand, and China, allowing Asia Fruit Logistica to strengthen its involvement with these dynamic and diverse fresh produce communities.

The inaugural Business Meet-Up series commences in Jakarta, Indonesia, on February 27. Subsequently, the roadshow proceeds to Mumbai, India, aligning with Fresh Produce India on March 21-22, a Fruitnet-organized event where Asia Fruit Logistica is the Official Partner. The series continues with a Business Meet-Up in Bangkok, Thailand, scheduled for April 3, and concludes in Shanghai, China, with a special event hosted by Asia Fruit Logistica on May 27-28.

David Axiotis, the Managing Director of Global Produce Events and the organizer of Asia Fruit Logistica, expressed enthusiasm for the Meet-Ups, emphasizing their commitment to fostering fresh produce business growth in Asia. Direct engagement with these markets, Axiotis believes, will create more opportunities and value for Asia Fruit Logistica participants. Hendry Sim, Vice Director of Laris Manis Utama, a prominent Indonesian fresh produce importer-distributor, welcomed the initiative, seeing it as a way to expand Asia Fruit Logistica's reach in Indonesia. Similarly, Wipavee Watcharakorn, CEO of Vachamon Food, a leading Thai fresh fruit importer, commended the roadshow program, expressing eagerness to support and explore new ideas and opportunities in Bangkok.
