Bank of Sharjah, a prominent commercial bank in the United Arab Emirates, is excited to announce the appointment of Mr. Sridhar Karlapudi as its new Chief Operating Officer.

With a distinguished career spanning 25 years across India, the Middle East, and the United Kingdom, Mr. Karlapudi brings extensive knowledge and experience to his new role. Before joining the Bank of Sharjah, Sridhar worked with renowned financial institutions, including Citibank, Barclays, Mashreq, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. Most recently, he served as COO at Ahli United Bank, UK, where he led the successful transition to Sharia-compliant banking and drove significant technology modernization initiatives.
Mr. Karlapudi is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Madras.
