Canon Hongkong Company Limited (Canon Hong Kong) has announced the appointment of Mr. Gary Lee as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. With over three decades of expertise in accounting, finance, and business management, Mr. Lee is set to lead the company’s operations across Hong Kong, Macau, and the Greater Bay Area.
Mr. Lee, who first joined Canon Hong Kong in 1997, has held several senior management positions, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and operational excellence. In his new role, he aims to leverage his extensive experience to strengthen Canon’s presence and foster innovation in the region.
Reflecting on the company’s legacy, Mr. Lee remarked, “Canon Hong Kong has shared a deep bond with the people of Hong Kong for over 50 years. Mr. Lee graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration and later earned an Executive MBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2012. His career at Canon began with a focus on finance and accounting. Over the years, he has taken on key leadership roles, including Senior Director in 2011, where he oversaw Finance, IT, Supply Chain Management, and Legal and Compliance across multiple regions, including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Mongolia.
From 2017 to 2024, Mr. Lee served as Vice President and CFO of Canon India, managing critical functions such as Finance, Legal, Corporate Communication, Government Relations, and Procurement. His global perspective and forward-thinking approach have made him an advocate for digital transformation and operational efficiency.
As CEO, Mr. Lee is poised to steer Canon Hong Kong through an evolving industry landscape, focusing on innovative imaging technologies, intelligent business solutions, and sustainable growth.
