Sanjay Rohatgi has been appointed as Cohesity's Group Vice President (GVP) of Sales for Asia-Pacific & Japan. Rohatgi will oversee Cohesity's sales and customer engagement efforts in the area with a focus on promoting the adoption of the company's cutting-edge data security, management, and AI-powered solutions. Rohatgi brings more than three decades of experience and leadership to the information and communications technology industry.
In the APAC region, Rohatgi has experience in the consulting, sales, business development, and IT industries. Most recently, Rohatgi served as General Manager for Data Storage & Cloud Storage solutions at NetApp and Senior Vice President for the APAC area, where he oversaw strategic relationships, drove sales throughout the region, and refocused marketing on the needs of the customer. Prior to this, Rohatgi worked with Symantec, Cisco, Nortel Networks, Telstra, and British Telecom Research Labs in a variety of sales leadership and business operations positions.
Rohatgi has a number of tertiary degrees under his belt, including an MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Australia, an Opto-Electronics Master's from Strathclyde University in the UK, a Bachelor of Engineering with First-Class Honors in Electronics & Telecommunications from NIT in India, and most recently, he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
