Digital Edge and Zenlayer teams up to Build One-stop Edge Cloud Service Hub in East and Southeast Asia
During the Pacific Telecom Council Annual Conference 2023, Digital Edge, one of Asia's fastest-growing digital infrastructure providers, and Zenlayer, a massively distributed edge cloud service provider, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to jointly bring high-performance edge cloud services to East and Southeast Asia.
The collaboration will provide local cloud and service providers with a one-stop digital hub for multiple edge services, allowing them to gain global interconnectivity while lowering costs and improving application performance.
Digital Edge is dedicated to bridging Asia's digital divide by developing and operating cutting-edge, energy-efficient data centres with numerous connectivity options. The collaboration with Zenlayer will strengthen Digital Edge's presence in the rapidly growing cloud ecosystem by introducing to its customer base a variety of new cloud and interconnection options such as bare metal cloud, cloud on-ramp, and multi-cloud access. The expanding geographical coverage of Digital Edge is a perfect match for Zenlayer's cloud and network infrastructure. With additional data centre capacity coming online in Jakarta, Manila, and Osaka in 2023, Digital Edge will be well positioned to support future cloud ecosystem expansions in these locations.
