Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presided over an event to initiate two important campaigns that aim to quickly implement the guidelines of the 14th National Party Congress. These campaigns focus on advancing innovation, science and technology, digital transformation, and transitioning to a green economy.

Additionally, they emphasize the growth of private businesses and enhancing the performance of state-owned enterprises. In his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the event in creating momentum for action in the new year and supporting the strategic decisions made at the 14th National Party Congress, leading to a new phase of national development.

Emphasizing the significance of patriotic emulation movements in the country's history of national construction and defense, especially in the past five years, Prime Minister Chinh stated that the 14th National Party Congress was highly successful, symbolizing a crucial turning point in the Party's revolutionary efforts.

The Prime Minister stated that science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and green transition are essential for the country to achieve strategic autonomy, develop an independent economy, and enhance international integration. The government sector takes the lead in this effort, while the private sector serves as a crucial driving force, and the business community plays a key role as a pioneering group. 

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of embracing innovation, advancing science and technology, undergoing digital transformation, and transitioning to green practices to drive growth and enhance productivity and competitiveness. He urged for a shift in mindset, increased awareness, and decisive action in these critical areas.

He called for the development of modern digital and green infrastructure in a synchronized, secure, safe, and efficient way, while also emphasizing the importance of avoiding wastefulness.

 

He highlighted the need for greater innovation and the widespread adoption of digital and green technologies across all sectors, as well as promoting international cooperation. Additionally, he stressed the importance of advancing the digital economy, digital government, and digital citizenship, all of which are connected to the "Digital literacy for all" movement and digital platforms that prioritize security, safety, and benefits for all individuals. He also urged for increased focus on green transition efforts and climate change response to support rapid and sustainable economic growth.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of focusing on private business development through the emulation movement, with a focus on "business at the centre, infrastructure as the foundation, and institutions as motivation." He urged a transition from administrative management to facilitation of development, services oriented towards people and businesses, modern governance, and providing close support for enterprises.

He emphasized the importance of enhancing institutions and the business environment, as well as creating digitalized, environmentally friendly, and intelligent business communities that are more competitive on a regional and global scale.

The Prime Minister encouraged companies to update their governance structures, become experts in technology, increase their engagement in the global market, and establish Vietnamese brands. He also emphasized the importance of enhancing corporate culture, ethical business practices, and fostering a strong and sustainable entrepreneur community.
