Ericsson reveals the selection of Chafic Nassif as the incoming Head of Market Area North East Asia and Senior Vice President. Currently serving as the Head of Ericsson's Customer Unit Latin America North in Market Area Europe & Latin America, Nassif will succeed Chris Houghton, who assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in November 2023. Nassif is scheduled to assume his new role on February 26, 2024, and will be stationed in Japan.
Chafic Nassif has held various executive and managerial roles across different business segments and global regions during his tenure at Ericsson. His recent position was as the Head of Customer Unit Taiwan. Prior to joining Ericsson, Mr. Nassif engaged in tech start-ups and held leadership roles in IT and business consulting in Europe.
