EV Cargo To Set Footprint In Vietnam Region

Separator

With the launch of its own operations in Vietnam, EV Cargo, a top global provider of goods forwarding, supply chain services, and technology, continues to develop and grow in Southeast Asia.

With cargo handling facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, and Haiphong, the main EV Cargo office will oversee the delivery of air and sea freight forwarding, customs brokerage, warehousing, and cross-border eCommerce services. These services will enable buyer's consolidation, multi-country consolidation, and LCL groupage services, all powered by EV Cargo personnel and infrastructure.

The new operation in Vietnam, run by Ruby Nguyen, Managing Director of EV Cargo Vietnam, will be fully integrated into EV Cargo's global logistics execution platform, which coordinates the annual movement of over $60 billion in goods for its clients between 2,400 country pairs by air, sea, and road.

Southeast Asia is a crucial strategic market for EV Cargo as one of the world's fastest expanding economic regions and logistics markets, as well as a significant sourcing origin for retailers and consumer goods brands. With new offices and logistics facilities in Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, the company has been steadily increasing its capability and capacity throughout the region in order to meet the rapidly changing needs of its clients and guarantee EV Cargo people and systems door to door for all of their Southeast Asia shipments.

Justin Bentley, EV Cargo Vice President, Southeast Asia, said: “Vietnam has benefitted from companies diversifying their sourcing strategies away from relying solely on China and we are talking to our customers every day about Vietnam and how we can set-up or advance their supply chain models.
