Gulf Business Machines (GBM), a leading provider of end-to-end digital solutions, has appointed Raid Shahin as the new General Manager of GBM Qatar. This appointment strengthens GBM Qatar’s role as a top technology integrator in the region, enhancing its focus on AI, digital transformation, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, all underpinned by a customer-focused approach.

He will also ensure GBM’s work in the country helps advance its digital transformation roadmap in line with the Digital Agenda 2030 and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
With more than 30 years of experience as a technology leader, Raid Shahin has led digital transformation efforts across multiple sectors in Qatar, playing a key role in the country’s technological progress.
Raid succeeds Soubhi Chebib, an industry veteran whose leadership was instrumental in driving GBM’s initiatives in Qatar before his retirement. This internal appointment underscores GBM’s commitment to fostering leadership excellence and tapping into internal talent to ensure continued success for its customers and partners.
