HCL Technologies Signs European Commission’s AI Pact

HCL Technologies (HCLTech), in its commitment to responsible AI practices (development and deployment of AI technologies) internally and with clients, has signed the European Commission’s AI Pact, aligning itself with the upcoming EU AI Act regulations. The European Commission has launched the AI Pact as a first comprehensive legal framework for AI to encourage organizations to take proactive steps towards ethical AI ahead of the full implementation of the EU's AI Act.The pact is said to direct signatory organizations to take proactive steps to align with the Act's emphasis on safety, transparency and human oversight.

By signing this pact, we're reinforcing our commitment to trustworthy development, deployment and use of AI systems and technologies, thus ensuring that they truly benefit society while minimizing risks and promoting transparency."

Its trading volume also surged to 4,028,207 shares, significantly exceeding its average levels.
