Dr. Karthik ND has joined Eurofins Scientific, a world leader in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) business, as the region's managing director for South Asia. His core area of expertise is Consumer Products Testing, which includes Softline, Hardline, Toys, and Leather.
It is thought that Karthik is a transformational leader who specialises in Testing, Inspection Certification and Assurance Services, Industry 4.0, Organizational and People transformation, with a particular focus on People Development, Business Excellence, Sustainability and Quality, Operational Excellence, Lean Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, Total Quality Management, Social and Environmental Compliance, Profitability, and Culture Change to create world-class organisations.
Karthik was the founder and MD of Mindworks International before he joined Eurofins. After serving as Senior Director - Softlines at Intertek India and Regional Director - Quality for South Asia, he held the position of Country Managing Director of Intertek Bangladesh for nine years.
Karthik holds doctoral degrees in textile technology and business administration from the University of Liverpool. He brings to the table experience in board management and more than 22 years in the garment sector.
