Kapil Arora Elevated as CEO of Ogilvy Indonesia

Ogilvy has recently appointed Kapil Arora as the new CEO of the Ogilvy Group in Indonesia, starting from January 1, 2026. Arora will be taking over the role from outgoing CEO Sieg Penaverde, who has been in charge of Ogilvy's integrated business in Indonesia for the last six years and will be moving on to explore new opportunities.
Kapil Arora has worked at Ogilvy for 24 years in five different offices.

He has held leadership positions overseeing various clients and offices, such as managing the Vodafone account in India, leading the Ogilvy Delhi office, and overseeing 82.5 Communications in India.
Since 2024, he has collaborated closely with Sieg as the chief operating officer.

In the past two years, Kapil has been instrumental in managing important client relationships for WPP and Ogilvy in Indonesia, working with companies such as Nestlé, Azko, SMBC, Kimberly-Clark, and Mastercard.
Previously, Andrew Low was named the new executive creative director at Ogilvy Indonesia, indicating a reinforced creative focus for the company's Jakarta office. This decision sees Low rejoining Ogilvy after nearly five years since leaving the agency's Beijing office in November 2020.
Stepping into a highly competitive creative industry in Southeast Asia, his main goal is to elevate the standards and quality of Ogilvy Indonesia. Low stated in an interview with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that he also aims to nurture the creative talent in the region. Low's comeback to Ogilvy marks a significant milestone in his career.

Prior to working at dentsu, he dedicated a considerable amount of time at Ogilvy Malaysia, where he advanced in the creative department for more than seven years. His contributions also led to the successful resurgence of Leo Burnett Malaysia, with notable campaigns for well-known brands like McDonald's, Maxis, and Lazada.
