
KEC International Acquires Orders Worth Rs.2,211 Crore

KEC International Ltd. acquires new orders totaling Rs.2,211 crore for its cables, oil and gas pipeline, and transmission and distribution operations.
In addition to a separate order for towers and hardware supply in the Americas, the RPG Group company reported that its transmission and distribution (T&D) segment had secured orders in Saudi Arabia for the design, supply, and installation of 380 kV overhead transmission lines.
In Mexico, its subsidiary SAE Towers was able to negotiate a sizable supply contract.
In addition to its ongoing pipeline project in Africa, KEC secured its second foreign order for terminal station construction in the oil and gas sector.
Additionally, the cables company received orders for a range of cable types both domestically and internationally.
This includes providing towers, hardware, and poles throughout the Americas as well as designing, supplying, and installing 380 kV overhead transmission lines in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
In addition to its existing pipeline laying project in Africa, the Oil & Gas Pipelines company has obtained its second international order for terminal station works in the continent.
"The large order wins in Saudi Arabia have further strengthened our international T&D order book. These wins reaffirm the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region's strategic importance as a key growth driver for us.
Orders for a variety of cables have been placed by the Cables company both in India and abroad.
"Our subsidiary, SAE Towers has secured a significant tower supply order in Mexico, reflecting an uptick in the North American T&D market. With these orders, our YTD order intake stands at over Rs 4,200 crores, a robust growth of 40 per cent vis-a-vis last year," Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International said.
