Mastercard appoints Gautam Aggarwal as Division President, S Asia & Country Corporate Officer

With effect from January 1, Mastercard has hired Gautam Aggarwal as Division President for South Asia and Country Corporate Officer, India. He replaces Nikhil Sahni, who is moving into a new regional position within the organisation. With his new role, Aggarwal will be in charge of all Mastercard operations in South Asia and India, including marketing, product management, interactions with clients and authorities, and more. In addition, he will oversee operations across the subcontinent, including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, the Maldives, and Bhutan in addition to India, as the head of the South Asia division of the payment technology company, based in Mumbai. With more than ten years of expertise in technology, sales and business development, product management, strategy, and M&A, Aggarwal joined Mastercard in 2014.
