OTT platform Netflix set up a massive booth at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), which kicked off on May 1 at the Jio Convention.
Netflix showcased their exquisitely designed tent during the WAVES summit in a series of Instagram stories.
With areas devoted to programs like Squid Game, Heeramandi, and others, the enormous immersive pavilion combines technology, storytelling, and pop culture.
During the WAVES Summit, viewers may explore their favorite series and films in depth by visiting the Netflix pavilion. Fans who enjoy an immersive experience at the WAVES Summit Netflix Pavilion are seen wearing VR sets in images posted by the firm on their Instagram stories.
Fans of Squid Game who attend the summit will have an amazing time as Netflix is now enabling them to see the show in real time using their virtual reality equipment.
The goal of the May 1–4 WAVES Summit in Mumbai is to convene the top media, entertainment, and technology innovators worldwide.
More than 100 prominent exhibitors, including Netflix, Amazon, Google, Meta, Sony, Reliance, Adobe, Tata, Balaji Telefilms, Dharma Productions, Saregama, and Yash Raj Films, will be present at the summit, which will take place over 15,000 square meters.
At a time when India is becoming a global center for film production, digital content, gaming, fashion, music, and live performances, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the WAVES Summit 2025 as having the potential to develop into a global talent platform.
According to him, the time was ripe for "create in India, create for world" because India has so much more to contribute than the world, which is searching for fresh narrative techniques.

Indian "gaana" will undoubtedly become as popular over the world as Indian "khana," he added, adding that while the screen size may be getting smaller, the message (India's stories) is getting bigger.
