NexifNexif Ratch, a company specializing in solar, wind and hydropower projects, has named Cyril Dissescou as its new CEO to drive business expansion. Cyril Dissescou succeeds Matthew Bartley, who served as the interim lead since the establishment of the Singapore-based firm in December 2022. While Matthew Bartley will continue to be part of the company's board, the appointment of Cyril Dissescou signals a strategic move for Nexif Ratch to guide its growth in the energy sector.

Dissescou, with a two-decade tenure at BNP Paribas, notably served as the managing director of the bank's low carbon transition group, focusing on corporate deals in renewables, energy infrastructure and transition metals in the Asia Pacific region. Having spent 15 years in Singapore, Dissescou brings extensive expertise to his role as the new CEO of Nexif Ratch. The Chairman of Nexif Ratch, Surender Singh, acknowledged Dissescou's valuable experience and expressed gratitude to Matthew Bartley for establishing a strong foundation for the company.

Nexif Ratch, a collaborative effort between Singapore's Nexif and Thailand's Ratch group, manages a diverse energy portfolio exceeding 4,000 megawatts across Southeast Asia and Australia. The company operates in various countries, including Australia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Recent endeavors include the acquisition of a 30MW hydropower plant in Vietnam and the construction of a 74MW-peak solar power plant in the Philippines, scheduled for completion by mid-2024. Nexif Ratch is actively involved in managing battery storage, wind, and gas power projects in Australia.
