Raffles Family Office, the Asian multi-family office, has welcomed two former UBS executives to its Hong Kong team. Barry Tse will join as the Managing Director of Relationship Management, while Cherie Liu will take on the role of Head of Marketing and Communications.
Before RFO, Tse was an executive director at UBS, working in client advisory roles; before that, he was a director at Julius Baer. His career also included roles at Macquarie Bank and Man Investments. Tse is a chartered financial analyst and chartered alternative investment analyst.
Liu has more than two decades of experience in private banking and investment services. Before her new job, she was executive director, of marketing, and global wealth management at UBS. Before that, she was also a director, Asia-Pacific, for the marketing and branding, wealth management arm of Credit Suisse.
The firm has dual headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore, and its presence includes Shanghai, Taipei, and Bangkok.
Among other changes, in October this year, RFO appointed senior LVMH figure Chris Chong as a board advisor.
In July, RFO appointed Terence Chow, former CEO of RBC Wealth Management for Asia, as Chief Operating Officer. This move reinstates the dedicated COO role, which had been vacant since Yvonne Siu's departure in 2021. Additionally, in late May, the organization elevated its co-founder and partner, Kendrick Lee, to the position of Chief Executive for Singapore.
