Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics will showcase their AI home appliances at IFA 2026, Europe’s largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, scheduled from Friday to Tuesday in Berlin.

Samsung Electronics announced that it has established its own booth at Humboldt Carre in central Berlin, as opposed to participating in the main venue at Messe Berlin.

At the booth operating from Wednesday to Sunday, Samsung will display its “AI Home,” which links home devices, services, and energy management.

Samsung announced that the exhibition will showcase a concept of “AI living,” which will emphasize not just technological ease but also the everyday lives and requirements of individuals. The company will additionally present its 2026 television range, featuring Micro RGB models. The televisions include Vision AI Companion, a conversational AI technology that delivers tailored content suggestions and contextual information without interrupting the viewing experience.

The Bespoke AI Family Hub fridge employs camera-based AI Vision technology to identify food items automatically and suggest recipes, providing a customized experience. Its expansive touchscreen will function as a built-in energy management system that tracks and regulates the power usage of connected household devices instantly. Additionally showcased will be integrated hood induction cooktops and dishwashers intended to enhance space efficiency and lower energy use.

“AI should deliver meaningful benefits that people can directly see and experience in their daily lives,” says Benjamin Braun, chief marketing officer for Samsung Electronics Europe.

“At IFA 2026, we will show how AI can be applied in practical and accessible ways across entertainment, mobile and the connected home ecosystem.”

Samsung will establish a Samsung Creator Hub at Messe Berlin to provide a practical experience of its AI ecosystem. In contrast to Samsung, LG Electronics plans to establish a sizable booth at Messe Berlin, where it will directly compete with Chinese electronics firms that are expanding their presence at IFA.

LG will display its AI-driven connected ecosystem, featuring ThinQ Claw, which links appliances and services through text-based chat interactions tailored to users’ context. It suggests or performs actions customized for scenarios like cooking, managing air quality, and conserving energy, enhancing LG’s AI Home into a system that comprehends users’ everyday habits.

ThinQ Pro will also make its European debut; this building management platform is a B2B solution designed to effectively oversee appliances and facilities.
