Smart Labels, Smarter Protection: Acviss Puts Spotlight on Smart Packaging Tech at FTI Expo 2025

The future of packaging security took centre stage at the FTI Expo: New Trends, held at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center in Bangkok. The event, hosted by Federal Thai Industries (FTI), gathered leading industry players to explore the latest advancements in AI-driven mechanical development, robotics, and authentication solutions. Among the select innovators was Acviss, presenting its revolutionary approach to product protection through advanced labelling technology.

Innovation in Packaging: The Acviss Edge
As counterfeiting threats rise globally, Acviss has pioneered a new wave of tamper-proof, non-cloneable labels that empower brands to safeguard their products and consumer trust. At the FTI Expo, Acviss demonstrated how its packaging solutions seamlessly integrate with AI, blockchain, and secure QR codes, offering brands real-time traceability, authentication, and supply chain transparency.

Non-Cloneable Technology: Setting a New Standard in Security
At the heart of Acviss’s packaging innovation is its non-cloneable labeling technology, a breakthrough in the fight against counterfeiting. Unlike traditional barcodes, holograms, or QR codes that can be replicated with high-resolution printing, Acviss’s labels are designed with a unique, proprietary security algorithm that makes duplication virtually impossible.

Each label features a dynamic security code, which, when scanned, verifies the authenticity of a product through cloud-based validation mechanisms. These codes are generated using AI-driven encryption and linked directly to the manufacturer’s database. This ensures that even if counterfeiters attempt to copy the label, the system can instantly detect fraudulent activity.

"We believe that security should be simple yet unbreakable. Our technology ensures that every product can be verified instantly, preventing counterfeit goods from entering the supply chain," says Steven Roelandts, Acviss SE Asia Sales Head.

Acviss’s security system employs cryptographic encryption, ensuring that each label remains unique and non-replicable. This advanced security measure makes it nearly impossible for counterfeiters to replicate product authentication codes. The technology enables real-time authentication, allowing consumers and businesses to verify product authenticity instantly through mobile applications or online platforms.

The labels are also designed with tamper-evident properties, making it clear if a product has been altered. This added layer of security provides visible proof of authenticity and discourages fraudulent tampering. Combined with blockchain integration ensures that every authentication record is immutable, creating an additional safeguard by maintaining a transparent and unalterable history of product verification.

These multi-layered security features establish Acviss’s labeling technology as a strong and effective tool for safeguarding brands and consumers against counterfeiting threats.

A Growing Need for Secure Packaging Solutions
With the increasing demand for authenticity in high-value industries, Acviss’s solutions gained strong interest from attendees, particularly in the dietary supplement sector. As regulatory pressures heighten across the Thai and global markets, brands are actively seeking foolproof track-and-trace mechanisms to protect their integrity and revenue.

The event also opened doors for potential collaborations, including a significant discussion with the Thai government regarding the implementation of protected QR codes for professional authentication in the wellness industry. Acviss’s ability to merge anti-counterfeiting technology with real-world applications underscores its commitment to innovation and security beyond traditional packaging.

The Role of Consumer Awareness in Brand Protection
Beyond technological advancements, consumer awareness plays a critical role in brand protection. Educating end-users about the importance of verifying product authenticity is key to combating counterfeit goods. At the FTI Expo, industry leaders discussed the need for more consumer engagement strategies, including interactive product packaging that allows customers to verify authenticity instantly. Acviss’s approach extends beyond just labeling, incorporating consumer education programs and digital engagement initiatives to ensure that customers are more vigilant about the products they purchase. Transparency in the supply chain, combined with consumer participation, creates a stronger defense against counterfeit markets.

Vikas Jain emphasized the role of consumer participation, stating, "Technology alone cannot fight counterfeiting. We need to empower consumers with knowledge and tools that enable them to make informed purchasing decisions. A well-informed consumer is a brand’s strongest ally."

Looking Ahead: The Future of Brand Protection
Although FTI Expo 2025 maintained a low-profile yet highly focused audience, Acviss’s participation reaffirmed its position as a leader in brand protection technology. With ongoing partnerships in Thailand’s growing industrial landscape, Acviss is poised to expand its impact, ensuring that businesses across sectors, from FMCG to pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements, have access to next-generation anti-counterfeiting measures. As brands navigate the evolving landscape of AI-integrated packaging security, Acviss continues to drive innovation, offering solutions that go beyond protection, enhancing consumer trust and enabling seamless supply chain transparency.
