Talkdesk Appoints Simon Horrocks to Spearhead Growth in Asia-Pacific

Bringing with him more than three decades of sales expertise, Simon Horrocks enters Talkdesk having led teams for both startups and major corporations across the APAC region. Operating from Sydney, Australia, his primary objectives include accelerating go-to-market strategies and facilitating business growth for Talkdesk within Australia, New Zealand (ANZ), and Southeast Asia. Horrocks' recruitment underscores Talkdesk's dedication to establishing itself as a premier AI-driven customer experience leader in APAC, coinciding with the company's imminent launch of a regional cloud in Australia and further expansion plans across the region.

Prior to joining Talkdesk, Horrocks served as a pivotal figure at, spearheading the company's endeavors in the APAC market as it sought to establish its presence in the region. His background includes roles at various esteemed technology firms in APAC, such as AppDynamics, Cisco, IBM, and ScienceLogic.

In addition to Horrocks’ hire, Talkdesk recently promoted Miles Ennis to global sales leader and announced Munil Shah as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO).
