He emphasized Vietnam’s recent strategic decisions focused on alleviating constraints, unleashing resources, and establishing new catalysts for development, including those concerning the renewal of Vietnam's development model, national security, fostering a disciplined, safe, civilised, and harmonious society, and advancing Vietnam as a robust maritime nation.

Vietnamese intellectuals and scientists in Australia praised the strategic development resolutions embraced by Vietnam. They likewise embraced the Politburo's recently released Resolution No. 23-NQ/TW regarding overseas Vietnamese issues, which asserts that overseas Vietnamese are a vital component of the nation and a significant strategic asset that enhances national strength, acts as a link between Vietnam and the global community, and plays a direct role in national construction, development, and defense.

They characterized the resolution as a tactical change that addresses the nation's developmental needs in the new era and is anticipated to generate new impetus for expatriate Vietnamese to contribute more to their country.

The delegates proposed several recommendations, such as implementing policies to draw talent to work in Vietnam, attract foreign investment, cultivate innovation and startup ecosystems, commercialize scientific and technological products, enhance patent protection for new concepts, and optimize the use of educational and training resources.

Following their feedback, General Secretary and President Lam stated that the Party and State have consistently implemented policies regarding overseas Vietnamese issues into specific actions and have refined them to enhance the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese communities overseas.
