
Vietnam's Top Prosecutors Visit Toss Bank on Digital Innovation

Toss Bank announced that Vietnam's Supreme People's Procuracy had come to its Seoul headquarters to gain insights into the digital-only bank's cybersecurity expertise and technological innovation practices.
Toss Bank's CEO Rhee Eun-mi and Chief Information Security Officer Lee Jeong-ha presented the bank's achievements and operating methods to the Vietnamese representatives, headed by Hoang Minh Tien, who serves as director general for criminal justice statistics and digital transformation.
Both parties engaged in comprehensive conversations about Vietnam's digital transformation obstacles, technological approaches for fighting cybercrime, and ways to enhance security within data-based case management systems.

Vietnam is actively implementing digital transformation across the country, and within this initiative, the nation is developing a digital prosecution office. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime facilitated this visit.
"It's remarkable that Toss Bank turned a profit within three years while actively pursuing inclusive finance," Hoang said. "Vietnam has a large, youthful population with strong potential, and we are actively pursuing digital transformation. In that sense, we aspire to the same level of financial accessibility and security demonstrated by Toss Bank."

Throughout their five-day Korean visit, the delegation connected with essential organizations such as the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, Ministry of Justice, Korea Internet & Security Agency, and Korea Institute of Criminology and Justice. Among all institutions visited, Toss Bank was the sole financial entity included.
The bank said it maintains a "one-app strategy" in partnership with Toss, building one of the industry's most advanced integrated response and security systems.
