Ani Saritsuratana: A Diligent Leader Committed to Transforming Client's Vision into Reality

Ani Saritsuratana, Founder & CEO, 0

Coming from a humble background, Ani Saritsuratana grew up in rural Thailand. From an early age, the values of education, imagination, as well as the importance of backing yourself were instilled in her by her parents. After her education in the USA and the UK, she decided to pursue her dream of starting her own entrepreneurial venture and after a brief stint at an Animation Studio, she started her own boutique 3D Architectural Visualization firm Oneiri Creative. The phenomenal success of the firm in Thailand made her spread her wings even further and expand her business by establishing another firm named ONC3D in Singapore. In a short period, under her diligent effort and inspiring leadership, ONC3D has been experiencing tremendous success in the Singapore market.

In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights ASIA, Ani sheds light on her professional background, her leadership approaches, and much more.

Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences?

During my university days in the USA and the UK, I started getting more interested in starting my entrepreneurial venture. I started my career in an Animation Studio and worked there for some time before starting my own boutique 3D Architectural Visualization firm. Early on, I was fortunate to be selected by the Happy and Healthy Bike Lane CSR project at Suvarnabhumi Airport to create 3D graphics, animations, and models as a key component for fundraising efforts to finance the project. The endeavor was quite successful, attracting over four billion Baht in donations, which, in turn, enabled the team to build world-class cycling facilities at the airport, which attracts well over one million users annually.

This marked the inception of Oneiri Creative, a leading Architectural Visualization firm that has been serving property developers in Thailand for the last seven years. Last year, we expanded our reach by establishing another firm, named ONC3D, in Singapore.

Define ONC3D as an organization and its position in the market.

Started as a natural progression from my Thai company Oneiri Creative, ONC3D has quickly become a respected name in 3D Architectural Visualization, delivering high caliber computer graphics and digital animations internationally. Having visited Singapore regularly, I saw the opportunity for our boutique services in the Singapore market, leading to the formation of the firm. ONC3D was set up to provide clients with tailored 3D rendering and animations by merging advanced technology with creativity. Currently in its growth stage, the firm is experiencing gradual growth while delivering cost-effective solutions to clients.

In Singapore's competitive market, ONC3D is positioned as a boutique firm that stands out for its distinctive and high-quality services and is distinguished by its artistic approach and creative solutions that resonate with our clients. We boast an extensive library of assets and inhouse textures, coupled with our powerful render farm that supports our artists in meeting demanding deadlines.
Tell us about your leadership approach. What are the guidelines or methodologies you follow as a leader?

I strongly believe in hiring the right professional 3D artists and offering them the right environment and facilities that enable them to work effectively. Starting from meeting the client to delivering the finished product, I provide a clear allocation of responsibilities for all stages of the work. We are also increasingly employing software to monitor progress and allocate staff time more efficiently, which ultimately enables us to be more efficient and maintain a reasonable cost structure for clients. As a woman in a predominantly male industry, I insist on the highest quality deliverables to our clients while bringing a unique perspective that emphasizes emotional connection within spaces.

It's crucial to marry the creative ideas of our artists with the clients' visions, ensuring peak creativity while adhering to stringent deadlines. I also prioritize the continuous professional development of our team through various workshops, aligning their skills with the latest technological advancements to enhance client experiences.

What is the future destination you are heading towards? Any advice you would like to give to the budding industry leaders?

Currently, ONC3D is in its early stages and the primary focus for the next three years is to continue building our Singapore team while expanding our facilities. At the same time, we will work on cultivating strong partnerships in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. We will also continue to work on our goal to be the preferred 3D visualization company for real estate developers seeking innovative solutions, which we have already started with our first high-end residential project in the Philippines.

The advice I would like to give to budding entrepreneurs is that to be successful at anything in life, you have to love and be passionate about what you do. Another key is to have the ability to adapt to the ever-changing marketplaces while embracing new threats. The obvious one today is the impact of AI on the market. Another key point is to always back yourself. If you find that difficult then don’t expect others to back you.
