Adnoc Drilling Company has secured a lucrative $1.7 billion contract from Adnoc, tasked with providing drilling and related services for the extraction of unconventional energy sources. To effectively fulfil this contract and tap into future opportunities in this domain, Adnoc Drilling has established a new entity named Turnwell Industries LLC OPC. Under the agreement, Turnwell is set to deliver 144 unconventional oil and gas wells. In a strategic move, Adnoc Drilling has initiated discussions to form a partnership with Schlumberger Middle East SA (SLB) and Patterson-UTI International Holdings. This collaboration aims to bolster unconventional drilling operations, pending the finalization of agreements and regulatory approvals.
Abdulmunim Saif Al Kindy, Adnoc's upstream executive director and vice chairman of Adnoc Drilling, emphasized the company's commitment to meeting global energy demands responsibly.
