Amadeus to Roll Out AI-Powered Travel Seller Tool Across Gulf

Amadeus is set to launch its latest Amadeus Max for Travel Sellers throughout the Gulf region, as the travel technology firm enhances its deployment of artificial intelligence to aid travel agencies in boosting efficiency and streamlining the growing complexities of booking and servicing operations.
Embedded in Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, the AI-enhanced copilot aims to help travel agents with tasks such as understanding airline fare regulations, examining Passenger Name Record (PNR) histories, and developing Smart Flows.
The technology seeks to enhance agents' speed in obtaining information and practical guidance seamlessly within their current workflows.

The launch occurs as travel agencies throughout the GCC look for technology that can simplify operations while enabling agents to focus more on customer interaction and premium traveler services.
Amadeus stated that the initiative is a component of its broader investment in artificial intelligence and next-generation digital infrastructure.
The organization has already implemented AI-driven functionalities in sectors such as corporate travel arrangements, hotel business insights, and operational management systems, leveraging Microsoft Azure OpenAI technologies. These efforts aim to enhance automation, boost operational resilience, and lessen the load of repetitive manual activities.
Amadeus Max for Travel Sellers is anticipated to assist agencies in speeding up booking processes, minimizing mistakes, and enhancing service uniformity.

The tool aims to minimize the time agents dedicate to tasks that usually need significant training or manual input by offering immediate insights on fare regulations and PNR histories. Amadeus stated this might lead to quicker handling of intricate bookings, reduced error frequencies, and expedited onboarding of new agents.
