Cindy Khoo, currently the deputy secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) strategy group, will be the new managing director of Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG), effective from March 1. She succeeds Jeffrey Siow, who assumed the role of second permanent secretary at the Ministry of Manpower on December 31. Khoo will officially assume her position at EnterpriseSG on April 1, relinquishing her role at PMO.
Khoo joined the PMO’s strategy group in 2019 and has been overseeing strategic planning, futures, and organizational development. She took on her current role as deputy secretary in September 2021. The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) stated that Khoo has demonstrated strong leadership and possesses deep expertise in public-sector governance and processes, with in-depth knowledge of sustainability and economic issues from her work at PMO.
