Daniel Ode Named Head of Ericsson for Singapore, Philippines and Brunei

EricssonEricsson has named Daniel Ode as the Head of Ericsson for Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, and as the Head of the Global Customer Unit (GCU) for Singtel Group in Market Area Southeast Asia, Oceania & India (MOAI). In this capacity, Daniel will assume the responsibility of steering Ericsson's business and supervising its activities across these markets. He will serve as a member of the regional executive leadership team at Ericsson Southeast Asia, Oceania and India, directly reporting to Nunzio Mirtillo, the Head of MOAI.

Daniel boasts a vast telecommunications industry background and has an extensive tenure of over 17 years with Ericsson. Before assuming his current position, he served as the Acting Head of the Customer Unit in Northern and Central Europe, and as the Head of GCU Telia Company. In this capacity, Daniel spearheaded Ericsson's dealings with Telia in the Nordics and Baltics, steering business operations and managing the strategic partnership with Telia Company.

Expressing enthusiasm for his new role, Daniel stated, "I'm excited to lead our skilled teams in Singapore, Brunei, and the Philippines, collaborating with our customers to keep them at the forefront of 5G advancements". He emphasized leveraging Ericsson's technological expertise to contribute to the technological progress and economic development of these markets. Daniel holds a Master of Science from Chalmers University of Technology and has held various senior managerial positions at Ericsson, including roles such as Head of Digital Services South America, Country Manager for Ericsson Peru, and Key Account Manager for Telefonica in different countries. Before joining Ericsson, he also operated his own venture. With a diverse background encompassing international experience and entrepreneurship, Daniel is a dynamic leader bringing a distinctive perspective to Ericsson's operations.
