Dentsu Appoints Yusuke Kagohara as the CFO for Southeast Asia

Dentsu has appointed Yusuke Kagohara as the Chief Financial Officer for Southeast Asia, bolstering its regional leadership framework as the network intensifies its emphasis on sustainable and responsible growth. Kagohara will be accountable to Sanjay Bhasin, the CEO of Southeast Asia at dentsu.
The appointment occurs as dentsu aims to enhance financial discipline and improve governance structures within its Southeast Asia operations, a region viewed as both high-growth and structurally intricate.
Kagohara possesses a wealth of experience in corporate strategy, finance, and transformation. In his latest position as Group Head of Risks and Controls at dentsu Group Inc., he spearheaded global efforts focused on internal controls, enterprise risk management, and governance, aiding extensive transformation and remediation projects.
Before that, he occupied significant leadership roles such as CFO and Deputy CFO at dentsu Beijing and Dentsu Creative China, where he managed financial governance and led business transformation across various markets.

Sanjay Bhasin, CEO, Southeast Asia, dentsu says, “The region’s next phase of growth would require a stronger foundation built on accountability and resilience rather than scale alone. He added that Kagohara’s cross-market experience and expertise in governance and transformation would be instrumental as dentsu continues to evolve its integrated offerings. This is about building a business that is not just bigger, but foundationally stronger.
