Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived at Orly Airport in Paris to commence a state visit intended to enhance the strategic relationship between Indonesia and France.
Upon his arrival, Prabowo was greeted by Jean-Pierre Farandou, the French Minister of Labor and Solidarity, alongside a French honor guard.

Numerous Indonesian citizens also gathered to welcome the president at his hotel in Paris. Teddy stated that Indonesia and France currently engage in extensive strategic cooperation.
He further noted that the visit aims to bolster Indonesia's standing in Europe, particularly in France.
According to Teddy, Indonesia and France fulfill complementary roles in international relations, with Indonesia acting as a gateway between Europe and Asia, while France serves as a significant bridge between Europe and Southeast Asia.

"This marks the beginning of President Prabowo's state visit to France, which had originally been scheduled last year before being rescheduled several times," Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya wrote on social media.
Teddy stated that Indonesia and France currently share a broad and strategic partnership.
He further noted that this visit is anticipated to enhance Indonesia's standing in Europe, especially in France.
As per Teddy, Indonesia and France fulfill complementary functions in international relations, where Indonesia acts as a connecting point between Europe and Asia, while France serves as a significant link between Europe and Southeast Asia.
"Before beginning his official state agenda, President Prabowo is scheduled to perform Eid al-Adha prayers and gather with Indonesian citizens at the Indonesian Embassy residence in Paris," Teddy said.
Previously, Deputy State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro indicated that Prabowo left for France on Monday night to conduct a state visit. Juri also mentioned that the president would be in France on Wednesday, with Eid al-Adha celebrations adjusted to align with local circumstances.
Previously, The Institute for the Development of Economics and Finance (Indef) asserts that the strategic agreements made during President Prabowo Subianto's visits to Russia and France will enhance Indonesia's negotiating power internationally.

Indef's Executive Director, Esther Sri Astuti, stated that President Prabowo's dialogues with the leaders of both nations represented a vital opportunity to bolster cross-sector strategic partnerships and create new economic prospects.
In France, both governments reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their enduring bilateral relationship, which encompasses various areas, including defense, technology, economics, and culture.
From an economic standpoint, the discussions between President Prabowo and French President Emmanuel Macron on April 14 led to the establishment of multiple strategic agreements in the fields of business and investment.
