Anuj Virmani has been appointed as the Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson MedTech India, according to a statement from Johnson & Johnson Private Limited. Anuj leads the operations of the company and broadens reach into the tier II and III cities of the nation with his remarkable 28-year track record in the sector. Anuj also brings vast healthcare knowledge and a strategic patient-centric vision.
Virmani has been affiliated with Johnson & Johnson since 1995 and holds a master's degree in management studies from BITS Pilani. His vast background includes time spent serving as the EMEA MedTech division's Chief Financial Officer for the Middle East, Central Europe, Russia, Turkey, and Africa. His knowledge of general management, marketing, finance, and new business development has fueled successful projects that have improved standards of care, optimized patient paths, and developed specialties like bariatric, thoracic, and colorectal care.
As the managing director of Johnson & Johnson MedTech India, his top goals are to lead with integrity, develop talent, and uphold the company's mission of empowering 1.4 billion Indians.
