Jollibee Foods Acquires Korean Hot Pot Chain Operator All Day Fresh

Jollibee Foods, the top fast food chain in the Philippines, announced that it has purchased a 100 percent stake in All Day Fresh, the operator of the South Korean hot pot brand Shabu All Day.
Following the finalization of the share purchase agreement valued at approximately 130 billion won ($88.6 million), All Day Fresh has distanced itself from its previous parent company Myungryundang and has been fully integrated into the Philippine food conglomerate.

All Day Fresh runs 172 Shabu All Day locations in South Korea, with annual revenues reaching approximately 480 billion won, as stated by the company.
Jollibee Foods stated that the brand holds a top position in the South Korean market for all-you-can-eat hot pot, known as shabu shabu, emphasizing its belief in significant growth opportunities due to increasing global interest in Korean cuisine.
The firm is contemplating broadening Shabu All Day into Southeast Asian regions.
The acquisition comes after Jollibee Foods bought Compose Coffee, a South Korean coffee brand, last year, enhancing its foothold in South Korea's food and beverage sector.
Following the acquisition, Compose Coffee has grown its presence in Southeast Asia, incorporating the Philippines and Singapore.

Through these collaborations, JGF has contributed to transforming countless lives by initiating programs focused on tackling hunger, enhancing livelihoods, and generating opportunities for Filipino communities.
The Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP) has assisted 30 farmer groups that have been supplying the Jollibee Group since 2008, enabling farmers to integrate into the company’s supply chain. By 2025, partner farmers provided 31 percent of the Jollibee Group’s vegetable needs and 42 percent of its white onion supply.

Since 2007, the Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) program has delivered healthy meals to over 300,000 students, aiding in the fight against undernutrition among schoolchildren in the Philippines. Currently, 40 BLT Kitchens provide meals to more than 43,000 students in partner schools.
